October

This weekend my mom and my sister Heidi came and stayed with us for 4 days from Wyoming. It was soo much fun.  I have had the entire week off of work, so it was perfect timing.  Jase had school on Thursday so Mom, Heidi, & I spent the entire day Christmas shopping.  My mom is always extremely on top of things and very organized.  She sets a goal every year to get ALL of her Christmas shopping done by Halloween.  There are six girls in my family, and now one boy with Jase :) so there was a ton of shopping to get done. It was so fun to do girly things, and spend time with them. It made me realize how much I miss being around my family and just how lonely I get here in Boise.  I had a really hard time saying goodbye to them but I am very happy they came.

They did so much for us while they were here.  Took us out to nice dinners, which is a big treat for us because money is so tight right now. They also took us to Wal-Mart and bought more groceries then our empty cupboards have had in them since we have been here.

This is the latest picture of Jase climbing. School is going by so fast for him. Before we know it we will be on the road again and living who knows where.

I have so much down time here in Boise. I only work part-time and the school I work at constantly has breaks which leaves me a LOT of time. This table was the first table that my parents bought when they got married, forever and ever ago.  My mom gave it to Jase & I when we got married and so I decided that it needed a new paint job. I actually had tons of fun priming and painting it and think it turned out pretty great.

This is how it looks now!

The Latest

Jase and I had the opportunity to attend my step-cousin Allie's wedding this past weekend in Idaho Falls. My dad, Cara, & Olivia drove up from Arizona and Heidi met us from Star Valley. It was so fun to see our Arizona family, we don't get to see them as much as I would like. Jase and I attended our first sealing and I enjoyed it so much. It was so neat to once again hear the sacred covenants and promises that are made in the temple. It was a great experience. The wedding and reception were beautiful.

My Sister Heidi, Dad, & I at the reception

This was a street in Idaho Falls. We sure thought it was cool. :)

I love my husband so much. I fall more and more in love with him every day.

The Big Nasty Hill Climb

We have been in Boise for almost two months. I can't believe how fast time has gone by.  Jase  just finished his third week of school and only has 12 weeks left. He is really enjoying it and is working so hard. He studies for a couple hours every night and has big tests once a week.  I have  had a really hard time adjusting to only working part time.  I really like my job, although it sometime tries my patience, I enjoy it.

One of Jase's  friends from school told him about a motorcycle hill climb about 40 miles outside of Boise. We decided to check it out and it ended up being a lot of fun! Here are some videos of some of the climbs.

Tal's Beads & Things

My
11 year old sister, Matalya started her own business. :)  She makes adorable bracelets and has some really cute beads. She made all of my sisters a bracelet for my wedding and everyone loved them. I took some pictures of some of her bracelets while I was home this weekend and told her I would post them on here along with her contact info in case anyone wanted to order some. She works on them after school and will mail them to you if need her to.
If you want to place an order give her a jingle or write her an email. Most of them are about $3 a piece...and she is DEDICATED. :)

My husband the lineman

Jase started school on Monday.  I woke up to make him a sandwich and prepare his lunch and insisted that we take a "first day picture." Isn't he handsome?  I was so excited for him and couldn't wait to hear about his first day. He came home, arms full of binders and textbooks, and feeling a bit overwhelmed. He is already sooo dedicated. I am just so proud of him.

Tuesday night he came home and showed me all of his "treasures." We were like two kids on Chirstmas morning!

Idaho State Fair

Everything has been going great here in Boise. Jase starts school on Monday and I FINALLY got a job at a charter school in Meridian. It is a great job and I already love the kids I work with.
One of the highlights of our time here has been the Idaho State Fair. I was soooo excited to go to the fair, but because they charge admission, we had to be very picky about the days that we wanted to attend. We decided to go to the Rodney Atkins concert on Wednesday night. You didn't have to buy a ticket, but just stand in line to get in and arrive early enough to get a seat in the grandstand. We had so much fun!

His big entrance! There were so many people down in the standing area.

This was one of the songs he sang. I just loved it. Try to ignore my horrible singing in the background.

This was our favorite. I just love this song.  I can just imagine Jase riding around with our future son and saying this about his daddy. :)
