Jase Ray Romrell-The Best Daddy Around
With father's day being last Sunday, I have spent a lot of time thinking about Jase and what a TERRIFIC father he is. From the first time Jase put his hand on my belly and felt our boys moving inside of me, I knew that he was going to be a great dad. He has always been a great husband, patient, kind, and loving. He is always there for me and is honestly my best friend in the world. I have so much fun with him and he knows how to make me laugh. But watching Jase with Stedson and Treydon is really nothing less then phenomenal. I will never forget the way he reacted at their birth and the joy I felt looking at his face as he watched them being delivered. Jase helps out so much. I honestly, truly could not have survived bringing twins home if it wasn't for Jase. He gets up during the night just as much as I do, if not more. He helps out with everything! I mean everything! The second he gets home from work, when I know he would really like some "me" time, he starts helping with the boys. I will never forget him playing "bulls", or the way they light up when their daddy walks into the room, or the beautiful sight of him standing in front of a crib in the middle of the night rocking one of them back to sleep. He truly is the best daddy around and I am so thankful to have him in my life!

7 Months Old! Seriously????
Treydon & Stedson are a whopping seven months old today! This is such a fun stage. They are soo giggly and happy all the time. They are sitting up perfectly well on their own, which is adorable. The toy stealing and pushing each other over has begun, but it's still a little cute at this point....I am sure that will change soon.
They are loving baby food and table food and are starting to eat things like cheerios and baby puffs. I seriously can't believe that my babies are old enough to eat REAL food. I shed a tear every time I pack their clothes up, which seems to be every few weeks.

They are playing really well together and love each others company. They will randomly crack up at each other, which then sets the other one off as well. It's adorable.
We had a lot of fun last weekend...Grandma Romrell & Uncle Kayden came to visit! The boys LOVED having them here and laughed non-stop at Kayden. Grandma spoiled them rotten and they loved all the attention. Jase came and got Kayden for the last few hours of work on Friday and took him up in the bucket truck!

The boys are officially mobile...it scares me to death! Last week, I put them both on their little gym. They both started out on their stomachs. I watched them both roll over to their backs and then back over to their stomachs. I left the room for literally five minutes to change the laundry and came back to find this.

Stedson had made it over to the other side of the mat, and was resting. :) Treydon and scooted off the rug and was almost to the TV set. He was laughing and then would look up at me and whimper a little bit like "Come on Mom! Help me out!"

FINALLY! Time to break out the summer clothes!

Visitors
We had some special visitors from Arizona/Montana this past weekend. My dad, step-mom Cara, and Grandma Pat came to visit us for the weekend. We were so excited to have them and had so much fun. It was so good to see my dad, and I know that they thoroughly enjoyed the boys and spending time with them. My Grandma hadn't seen the babies since they were in the hospital in Salt Lake and my dad last saw them in December so they have really changed since their last visit. It was so nice to spend time with them.

I LOVE this one of my dad talking to Treydon

Everyone says that Stedson and my dad look a lot alike. I think I agree. :)

Spring
We are loving the sun that has decided to grace us with it's presence. The boys are growing at a rapid rate and time needs to SLOW down. I am amazed every single day how much they learn. We were able to go home for 8 days and it was so much fun and very much needed. We have started enjoying living in Wright and have made some good friends, but nothing compares to being home with our family. The boys were so cute with everyone and definitely got very spoiled. Jase and I haven't been to the temple since last May so we decided to take a day while we were home and do a session at the Logan temple. My sister Heidi lives in Logan so we dropped the babies off with her. It was so nice to be together and take a break from our everyday lives. We don't ever leave the babies, there is no one here to watch them, so it was a nice break. I think Auntie Heidi may have been a bit overwhelmed with the two screaming babies we left her with, but she did a great job and we REALLY appreciated it. We also got to eat at Texas Roadhouse, one of our favorites. While we were in Pegram, Jase got to spend some much needed time with his dad and brothers hunting and working on the ranch. I think he enjoyed the break from "baby duty" and I enjoyed the help from his Mom and Shonnee. My sisters were able to come home to Star Valley while we were there and I was able to do some of the "girly" things I miss out on. It was so much fun to be all together and it really made me realize how much I miss being able to spend a lot of time with them.
We had a great Easter. The boys were adorable with their baskets. We had an Easter feast at our friends, Erick and Amy's house. It was great to take a little extra time and remember the Savior and everything he has done for us.
The boys are six months old. Where did the time go? I can't believe it. They are definitely mobile, rolling all over the place. We are working hard on solids. They don't love it yet, but they are improving. They NEED to improve so we stop going through such an insane amount of formula. Right now we go through a can and a half a day. It's unbelievable! They are at such a fun stage and we are loving it. They love each other and really seem to notice each others presence. Stedson thinks Treydon is hilarious and is constantly cracking up at his every move. It's so adorable. Here are a few pics from our trip and Easter. :)

There is something so magical about being a mom. I can't fully wrap my mind around the fact that these two boys are mine. They make me so happy. I can't even put into words how happy being a mother has made me. These little fellas bring so much joy into my life every single day. There are so many times during the day when I am busy picking up or cleaning, and I look over at them in their jumpers or bumbos and they have the biggest smiles on their faces. It literally melts my heart. I don't know what I would do without them in my life. I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to be their mother!
They are starting to react a lot to each other. It's so adorable. I can already tell that they have such a special connection. They have been talking and laughing at each other. I think this will be one of the funnest parts of having twins. We started them on rice cereal a few days ago! I am so excited to be feeding them solids. It's amazing to me how fast they grow and how much they change and learn every single day.
The boys had their 4 month appointment on Friday (even though they are almost five months) and they are literally growing like weeds. Stedson weighs 17lbs 1oz and Treydon weighs 13lbs 13oz. They had to get their four month shots and it broke this mommy's heart. I don't know how I am going to handle seeing them in pain.
We are getting anxious to make our trip home in a few weeks! We haven't been home since Christmas and it will be so fantastic to see our families and spend some time relaxing.
I have turned into a bit of a picture and video fanatic lately. I am obsessed with capturing every single moment of my little angels lives so I don't forget anything. Here are a few of the most recents...:)

I have been wanting to share this video with our families because I think it's the cutest thing ever but I haven't been able to send it as an attachment so you all get to enjoy it!:) (Please ignore the bad video skills, it was one handed with my phone)
